I heard of the Hundred Islands National Park since I was a child. My friends older than I am always play around that there was only 99 islands because the 100th islet was already submerged. I just smiled at them everytime they say that.
Also I heard of Charlene Gonzales during the Miss Universe Pageant held in Manila long time ago saying that there are 7,107 islands and 7,106 when high tide in the Philippines. Then I said, “Charlene and my friends were right, that islet is in Hundred Islands.”
The Hundred Island National Park is a Philippines’ Treasure. It consists of 123 islands that sparkle along the Lingayen Gulf, embraced by the effulgence of colors of the sunset in South China Sea. It is the main destination of tourists from anywhere in the country most especifically, the Pangasinenses themselves.
If you are fun of picnics, boat riding, scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming and even fishing, this Paradise Philippines in Pangasinan is the place for you. You can visit the Alaminos City Website for more information on the Hundred Islands.
