San Fabian Beach

January 10th, 2007 · 12 Comments ·

San Fabian beach has been one of the most visited places in the early 70’s and 80’s until the late 90’s. Visitors from Isabela, Cagayan, Nueva Ecija, Nueva Viscaya, Tarlac, La Union, and Benguet usually flock the beach in May 1 or they call it “Pista ng Dagat”. The beauty of the beach is exceedingly great that the people who go to the Shrine of Our Lady of Manaoag are tempted not to visit San Fabian.

As of today, it is still a place of destination and relaxation.

    LINOX Observer:

It is not yet too late kabaleyan.

    LINOX OBSERVER:
We know that the owner of Maalikaya put up an exclusive house structure like a mansion with big court yard near the beach. I dont know if they are still using the house specially for big parties.Several decades ago, when Maalikaya SPA is still at its peak, whenever there was exclusive party, lahat ng dames diyan are wearing “nothing” as if they were in the garden of eve. You can’t see from the outside because of tall enclosures. From big time businessmen and generals up to the people in high places, nakikita nila lahat ng girls ay palakad-lakad sa garden na naked…These are the special girls, galing sa Maalikaya’s Presidential Suite, you know yong “special room” for big time payers. If you want to participate or enter that garden, you have to remove all your clothings just to cavort with them. Kaya nga ang tataas ng bakod which is more than 12-foot high. That the “open secret” pag nagtanong ka sa mga taga roon.

Now we know why that big house near the beach have very high walls and its hard to climb. If these babes really came from presidential suite of Maalikaya, wow, they look like the sexy supporting actresses. If Im not mistaken, for 2 hours massage for this class will cost you 8K ,wala pang tip and special add-on for more type of special service, eh?

LINOX Observer: In the Philippine history during World War 2, San Fabian Beach going to Bonuan Beach ,up to Lingayen Beach were the places where the American allied forces landed to subdued the Japanese occupying forces.Lingayen was higlighted becaused of ruins at the back of provincial building. There you can see the bomb crater and post marked at the side of the building where diff. kinds of ammo exploded. We knew that San Fabian beach is considered a historical place, too. We do not know if there are markers that commemorate the significant of this beach. I was in Normandy few years ago with some veterans friends. We went to other beaches also and there are lots of historical markers.I was fascinated how the people in other countries gave importance to their history. Can we do this on this beach? Maybe it will remind our youth that this beach is a witness to those soldiers who gave their lives for this country in order to obtain its freedom. Their precious blood poured and mixed with the water that pounded the shore of San Fabian Beach.

I agree with your proposal Mr. Linox that we should have historical markers commemorating the events during WW 2. Aside from the landing of Gen.Macarthur’s American forces. This was the the landing point of Lt. General Homma, Commander of the Japanese Imperial Expeditionary Forces on December 24, 1941. Let us maintain the historical significant of this beach.
